Daniel J. Kleinman, M.D., F.A.C.C
Daniel J. Kleinman, MD, FACC is a nuclear trained invasive cardiologist
from Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Brown University where he received his B.A.
in engineering. Before receiving his medical degree from Wright State
University, Dayton, Ohio, in 1982, he spent time as an exchange student in
Israel. After medical school, he studied Third World Medicine in Ludhiana,
India.
Dr. Kleinman completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at
Emory University, followed by a three year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
at the Medical College of Georgia, which was completed in 1989. While at the
Medical College of Georgia, he served as Chief Fellow in Cardiology and was
also an Assistant Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Kleinman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and has been
in private practice since 1990. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American College of Cardiology, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the
Cobb County Medical Society.
Dr. Kleinman is currently on staff at Wellstar Cobb and Kennestone hospitals. His special
interests include valvular heart disease, nuclear cardiology, and ischemic
heart disease.
An avid traveler, Dr. Kleinman is married and has two sons. He also enjoys
camping, traveling and sports with his family.
