George A. Kramer, M.D., MPH, F.A.C.C
George A. Kramer, MD is a board certified cardiologist who is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Loyola University with a degree
in biology and holds a Masters of Public Health received from the
University of Illinois. He obtained his medical degree from The Chicago Medical
School in 1985. Upon completion of an internship and residency in internal
medicine at Ohio State University Hospital, he went on to a cardiology
fellowship at Emory University. In June of 1992, Dr. Kramer completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Minneapolis Heart Institute.
Dr. Kramer has
been with Cardiovascular Medicine since 1992. He performs coronary heart catheterizations, single and multi-vessel angioplasty and coronary stent placement, and permanent pacemaker implantation and surveillance. He is on staff at
Wellstar Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone and Paulding hospitals.
Dr. Kramer is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and and member the the Medical
Association of Georgia and the Cobb County Medical Association. He is also the Director of Cardiac Rehab at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. He enjoys
preventative cardiology with a special emphasis on lipids and hypertension.
Dr. Kramer is married with four children.
