Cesar A. Egoavil, M.D., F.A.C.C., M.B.A.
Cesar A. Egoavil M.D, a cardiac electrophysiologist, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He received two degrees, a BS in Microbiology and a BS in Biochemistry, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994. He received a full scholarship to attend medical school at Loyola University Medical Center in 1998. After completing his internship and residency at Loyola University Medical Center, he completed his cardiology training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He spent two years at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia completing his training in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Egoavil received his Masters in Business Administration degree from Emory University Goizueta Business School in May 2008.
Dr. Egoavil is board certified in Internal Medicine,Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He joined Cardiovascular Medicine in July of 2005. He performs all aspects of pacemaker, defibrillator and resynchronization device therapy. His areas of special interests include electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
Dr Egoavil is currently performing electrophysiology procedures at Wellstar Cobb and Kennestone hospitals and is on staff at WellStar Paulding hospital
He is married and is the proud father of three children. Dr. Egoavil speaks Spanish fluently.
